Water Damage

Floods and water damage arise from a variety of circumstances. Heavy rains, hot water tank failure, kitchen appliance leaks, frozen pipes, clogged sewer/water mains, and sink/tub overflows are some of the most common causes of a flood. All of these situations require water extraction and flood restoration, so make sure your first call is to 24HR Disaster Restoration Services. let our skilled team put your mind at ease while we guide you through the insurance claims process.

We treat every flood as a 911 emergency and will have a technician dispatched immediately to your home. Upon arrival 24HR Disaster Restoration will contain or stop the source of water, until a professional repair can be completed. Once the source is contained water extraction will begin. A project manager will then document the materials that were affected by the water damage and determine if they are salvageable/ repairable. Documentation will be passed to your insurance provider with a scope of work to get the claims process started.

Our water damage service includes the inspection of the affected areas with water sensing equipment such as moisture detectors, probes and other infrared tools in order to determine the extent of damage to the affected area.  Services would then be rendered to the residence in order to dry the structure, sanitize any affected or cross-contaminated areas, and deodorize all affected areas and materials.  Water damage equipment including, but not limited to, air movers, air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, wood floor drying systems, and sub floor drying equipment is left in place. After a period of two to three days a reevaluation of the loss is taken to monitor the drying progress, and any equipment not further needed is removed as to keep job cost under control.

Once the temperature, humidity, and moisture content is deemed acceptable and safe according to industry standards, the water damage restoration equipment will be removed. The water damage restoration process is now complete and repairs may begin.
